The glove isn t coming off by mistake easily with this strap tightened. The randonnee is light enough for touring use 9oz in the 2007 version. These are rather pricey gloves but are the warmest ski gloves i think i have ever owned in 54 years of skiing and i love having the security of the wrist strap when needing to remove them while riding the lift. It is not a standout glove in any category but it also does not fail to deliver in all of our metrics.

Marmot s falcon grip the fingers are made slightly curved is nice as they feel natural rather than artificially holding my hands more open. The gloves have a good gauntlet to cover your sleeves they cinch tight without difficulty and they have a detachable runaway loop for your sleeve so they won t drop and blow away. With a driclime wicking lining the randonnee allows your hands to stay dry on the inside while gore tex fends off wetness on the outside. The palm material is reasonably grippy but i have seen better. Marmot randonnee gloves these gloves kept my hands nice and warm. These are lined with a softly fuzzy gortex which feelx like you re putting your hands into a warm cloud. The randonnee is marmot s mid range ski glove.
