Quite true looking on the thule website the roof racks alone for the mk4 s that are currently on the market are in the range of 150 175 to well over 200 if you ask me spending over 200 on a roof rack seems a bit excessive i have funny enough come across a genuine vw one for the 5dr golf near me that i was going to take a look at tomorrow judging from the pics of it it looks.

I looked at a lot of the roof racks online and found that they were pretty expensive.
Even the name brand racks are less than 150.
I have a 2009 gti mkv and i also have a 2009 glory 0.
